We cooked Jamaican food for national week but too bad we didnt get to eat any. This is an excellent practice of celebrating different countries and their cultures.

Year 7 Media Skills Lesson

I observed a year 7 lesson called Media Skills which none of the other years have. It was a good lesson because:

• They was using Microsoft PowerPoint effectively to make a picture and then using slides as frames to make and animation which was just as effective as animation software.
• When I watched the lesson I saw the best behaviour I have seen for ages.
• Most of the students in the lesson understood the work they was doing.
• There was a LOT of praise and celebration by the teacher.

Maths

In maths sir always does a starter using questions from the last lesson to make sure we have remebered the last lesson. This is a good connect part of a lesson. Because he is connecting last lessons topics in the current lesson we are doing. We see a continuity in our lesson and it also helps us revise important key information.

History

My history lessons have became even more great because my teacher shows us flims to make us understand even more about what we are learning and helps us imagine the images of the clip to beable to create posters and comments of what we think.
